We believe in contributing to our community and have formed strong ties with several organizations through the years.
  • United Way of Greater Houston
    Asia Chemical is a regular Pacesetter for the United Way campaign. The funds raised in this annual campaign are then distributed to programs that serve families and individuals in need and uphold the United Way's strong, results-oriented stewardship for every dollar given.
  • YMCA Houston
    Since 1886 the YMCA has been an important part of the Greater Houston area building strong kids, strong families and strong communities. It is dedicated to improving the quality of life through programs and services which provide opportunities for people to reach their highest potential, develop a positive attitude of self and others, appreciate good health and fitness, acquire a value system and maintain spiritual awareness that manifests itself in our daily lives.
  • Asia Society Texas Center
    Asia Society Texas celebrates the vibrant cultures and diverse perspectives of Asians and Asian Americans through innovative programs in arts and culture, business and policy, and education. Through family-friendly festivals, policy conversations, thought-provoking exhibitions, and more, our exciting programs offer all-ages opportunities to engage year-round with artists, speakers, and topics that connect us all.
  • Chinese American Citizens Alliance/ Miss Chinatown Houston
    Established in 1954, the Houston Lodge is a part of the National Chinese American Citizens Alliance, a non-partisan Chinese American fraternal, benevolent non-profit organization founded in 1895, the national organization began in San Francisco, California. It was formed as a result of unfair immigration laws passed solely against the Chinese called the "1882 Exclusion Act ". ( See www.cacanational.org ) C.A.C.A. has been spearheading efforts against unfair immigration laws, working to promote naturalization and citizenship, participating in the census count, having equal educational economic opportunities, and advocating voter registration.
